Norwegian tabloid Dagbladet has visited an animal market in the southern parts of China, and documentes what they saw with photos. Various readers are very upset. As a vegetarian, I am not particularly fond of such treatment of animals, obviously, but, can people really not see that these pictures are not much worse than what goes on within the meat-production industry in Europe or even Norway? Norwegians tend to believe slaughter houses in Norway are much more human. I get rather fed-up with this kind of hypocrisy.
